How this list is picked

A title earns its place when humor is a real draw: a comic premise in its official synopsis, an openly funny franchise or special, or a classic known for its laughs. Warm romances with a few funny moments stay on the romance page instead. Some comedies also belong on other pages: a couple are animated, and several classics are family staples. Ratings and tone are noted where they matter. Last updated Thu, Oct 22, 2026.
